Funded through NextGenerationEU

This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to upgrade interactive whiteboards, improve school broadband and digital infrastructure, empower teacher digital capacity through training and resources for integrating technology into teaching,  purchase educational software, apps, and licenses to aid literacy, numeracy and special educational needs.

Since then, we have implemented our Digital Learning Plan, investing in iPads and Chromebooks, with full access to G Suite for Education. These tools have transformed teaching and learning in our classrooms, making lessons more interactive, creative, and engaging. Our teachers are equipped to integrate digital resources seamlessly into their practice, while students are developing vital digital literacy skills that will support them throughout their education and beyond. As a result of this journey, we are now proudly recognised as a Google School, reflecting our commitment to innovation, inclusion, and preparing our pupils for the future
