Healthy Eating

At Inch National School, we prioritise the health and well-being of our students, and we believe that a healthy diet plays a crucial role in their overall development and academic performance. Here’s what you need to know about school lunches at our institution:

  • Healthy Eating Policy
We have a healthy eating policy in place to promote nutritious food choices among our students. Parents and guardians are encouraged to provide children with a healthy lunch that supports their concentration and energy levels throughout the school day.
  • Food Dudes Programme
Inch National School participates in the Food Dudes Programme, which aims to encourage children to eat more fruits and vegetables. This programme promotes healthy eating habits and encourages students to enjoy a variety of nutritious foods.
  • Government-Funded Free School Meals Programme
We are pleased to announce that the government-funded Free School Meals Programme will be introduced to our school in the near future. This initiative will provide eligible students with access to nutritious meals during the school day, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy lunch.

By promoting healthy eating habits and providing access to nutritious meals, we strive to create a supportive environment where students can thrive academically and lead healthy, active lives. If you have any questions about our school lunch programme or healthy eating initiatives, please feel free to contact us.
