At Inch National School, we partner with the Youghal Credit Union to offer our students the opportunity to participate in the “Save With Foxy” savings stamps programme. Organised by our Parents’ Council, this initiative helps teach our children valuable life skills such as planning, budgeting, and money management, while also instilling the importance and value of saving money.
Through the programme, students have the opportunity to purchase savings stamps on a weekly basis. By regularly contributing to their savings, students learn the importance of setting financial goals, making responsible choices with their money, and understanding the value of their purchases.
The “Save With Foxy” programme not only encourages the habit of saving but also fosters a sense of financial responsibility and independence among our students. We are grateful for our partnership with the Youghal Credit Union and the dedication of our Parents’ Council in facilitating this valuable initiative.
