At Inch National School, promoting the well-being of our students is at the core of our mission to help them reach their full potential. We have implemented various programs and initiatives to support their emotional, social, and mental well-being:
- Weaving Wellbeing Programme
Our school follows the Weaving Wellbeing Programme, which focuses on enhancing children’s well-being and resilience by developing skills such as emotional intelligence, regulation, positive emotions, social skills, and self-confidence. - Zones of Regulation
We utilise the Zones of Regulation program, which helps students recognize and manage their emotions by categorising them into different “zones.” This programme teaches self-regulation skills and provides strategies for coping with various feelings. - Zippy’s Friends and Friends for Life
Our school implements Zippy’s Friends and Friends for Life programmes, designed to promote emotional literacy and resilience in children. Through engaging activities and stories, students learn how to identify and express their feelings, manage stress, and build healthy relationships. - Food Dudes
We participate in the Food Dudes program, which aims to encourage healthy eating habits among children. Through fun and interactive activities, students learn about the importance of fruits and vegetables in their diet and are encouraged to try new foods.
By incorporating these programs into our curriculum, we aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and equipped with the skills they need to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
